Your Press Club membership renewal is due now!
To continue membership of the oldest press club in the world, please act without delay and renew now. Costs have been held at last year's level (£45 + VAT for ordinary members, £1,000 + VAT for corporate membership)
You can now pay your membership subscription online by credit card - please go to http://www.pressclubtickets.co.uk for further details. Please note that membership now runs from 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011 - that gives existing members an additional four months membership for free. Those who joined during or after November 2009 are entitled to discounted membership for this year only of £22.50 + VAT). Benefits of joining include a wide ranging calendar of activities, including celebrity lunches, First Thursday drinks nights and much, much more. Also, we are now in the process of producing the 2010-11 Press Club members' directory. Please renew your membership before the end of June 2010 to be sure that your details are included in the new Directory.

The Birmingham Press Club has a long established reputation as a media focal point, with members drawn from the press and broadcasting organisations as well as the business life of the city. For 136 years it has attracted prominent figures from the world of broadcasting, press, politics and show business to its social events.
Throughout the year we run social events ranging from Celebrity Lunches to more informal gatherings aimed at increasing social contact with professional colleagues. Recent guests to the celebrity lunches include Michael Parkinson, Germaine Greer, Sir Ludovic Kennedy, Ruth Rendell and John Simpson, who all join the long list of high calibre guests who have accepted the award of Honorary Life Membership.
