East Midlands Airport Wings Its Way To The Birmingham Press Club Ball

Amy Teige (pictured below left),from East Midlands Airport (EMA), displays her marshalling skills as she “guides” radio DJ Ed James and friends towards the dance floor for a practice session prior to next month’s Birmingham Press Club Ball. Ed, who presents the Breakfast Show on Heart FM, will host the East Midlands Airport-sponsored event, which takes place at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham city centre on Friday, September 26. He is pictured putting on the style with Pertemps’ PR & Communications Manager Melissa Dickinson, who is event co-organiser, and Matthew Hidderley and Eve Gaut (right) from Aston Science Park, which is the Press Ball’s other major supporter.

Amy, who is External Communications Executive at EMA, said: “The Ball is one of the highlights of the Press Club’s calendar, bringing together media personalities and business leaders from both the East and West Midlands, and we are delighted to sponsor such a popular occasion for the second successive year.”

Press Club Chairman John Lamb commented: “Always popular with our membership and guests, the Ball promises to be a real fun occasion. It’s great to have EMA on board again as the event’s main supporter; however, we also welcome Aston Science Park’s continuing links with the Press Club.” Matthew Hidderley, Marketing and Sales Manager for Aston Science Park, said: “The Park is a long-standing supporter of the Press Club and we are more than happy to continue our association with them. The Press Club Ball is just one of the many events that we support as part of our extensive and exciting events calendar at Aston Science Park.”
