The Archers Event

Press Club members recently got to see behind the scenes at Ambridge, home of ‘The Archers’, the world’s longest running radio drama.

Guests at the event met members of the cast, and also heard from local journalist Chris Arnot, co-author of ‘The Archers’ Archives’.

In an interview with BBC Midlands Today presenter Nick Owen, Chris gave a lively insight into the history of ‘The Archers’, and some of the stories that have enthralled fans of the show over the 60 years it has been broadcast.
