The Midlands Media Awards 2010
The ninth Midlands Media Awards took place recently, and as ever was a huge success.
Pictures from the glittering finale can be viewed here, and include all the winners.
Of the many awards on offer this year, the top two prizes were won by the following:
Scoop of the Year was won by Jeanette Oldham of the Sunday Mercury, and Newspaper of the Year was the Worcester News. All the other winners are listed below.
Birmingham Press club would like to say 'well done' to all the winners - and commiserations to those who entered, but didn't quite make it to the podium. There's always next year!
The Press Club would also like to thank the event sponsors, including main event sponsor Birmingham Airport, and Press Club overall sponsor Royal Mail, without whose generous support the event could not have taken place.
Details of the 2011 event will be posted on this website in due course.
